“Milk rivers of protest”: Italian farmers staged a cheeky agricultural strike

Italian farmers, who opposed the low purchase prices for raw materials, poured tons of milk on the Sardinian roads. Farmers argue that purchase prices are so low that they can not even cover production costs.

Manufacturers of dairy products supported the "butchers", starting to scatter pork on the road.

"Milkmen" demand from the authorities to increase the purchase price for raw materials to 70 euro cents per liter.
