Norway maple and its varieties are the most popular and famous species among the trees. The area of its growth is quite extensive and covers the territory from the Karelian Isthmus in the north, to the Caucasus, and the Balkans - in the south.
"Globosum" ("Globozum")
This variety looks like a small, neat, slow-growing tree that will look great even on a small plot of land. Its distinctive feature is a compact, dense spherical crown. Often the Globozum maple is grown in a grafted form (the vaccine is made on a stem of a variety).

"Deborah" ("Deborah")
Norway maple varieties "Deborah" has a beautiful, dense crown of a rounded shape, consisting of bright leaves. This species is characterized by good winter hardiness. Maple "Drummond" demanding of the soil, so to grow it will need a slightly moist area with fertile soil. Young branches of maple covered with green-yellow leaves. Sometimes it happens that shoots with leaves without a border appear in the tree crown. Experts recommend cutting them to the very foundation. 
When forming the crown, the maple "Drummond" be sure to remember about the early timing of sap flow. Such a maple can be planted both in spring and in autumn. It can grow in almost any soil, except sandy, acidic or waterlogged. Columnar loves sunshine, so it is desirable that other trees do not create a shadow for it. It tolerates even the harsh winter and is resistant to parasites.

"Crimson King" ("Crimson King")
Norway maple "Crimson King" - a very beautiful tree, especially in the fall. It reaches a height of 15-20 meters. In size and shape, it is similar to a common Norway maple, but differs from it in leaf color. When they bloom in spring, their color has a blood-red hue, then they turn a dark purple hue and turn purple in the fall. 
The crown of the "King" is wide, the same as that of a common carbonized maple. The trunk is covered with dark, almost black bark, dotted with numerous small cracks. The shape of the Crimson King Maple Leaf is five-lobed, and its length is 18 centimeters. Flowering occurs when the plant reaches the age of 17 years.
Crimson King can be grown on any cultivated garden soil. In the spring, it is better to feed it with a special mixture: 40 grams of urea, 15-25 grams of potassium salt, 30-50 grams of superphosphate. These proportions are calculated for one tree. In hot weather, maple needs plenty of watering. 
Important! In drought, the rate of irrigation is 15 liters of water for each plant.
"Royal Red" ("Royal Red")
The height of the variety "Royal Red" reaches 15 meters, and the diameter of the broad-crown crown is 8 meters. The bark is dark gray, covered with small wrinkles. The leaves are large, during the blooming of a bright red color, which then changes to dark red, and before it drops it takes on a dark orange shade. Flowering begins in May. Understanding the seeds of the maple "Royal Red" is quite simple - it is a yellow-brownish lionfish. 
This plant is distinguished by a love of sunlight, but at the same time it can tolerate small penumbra. "Royal Red" is quite demanding on the soil, and for successful cultivation it must be fertile and slightly acidic. This variety does not tolerate drought, water stagnation, soil compaction and salinization. With severe frosts, frosting of young tree shoots is possible, which, however, does not affect its decorative effect.
"Royal Red" looks good in single and group plantings. The plant allows you to make contrasting seasonal compositions. Recommended for urban landscaping.

In spring, the leaves are bright red and purple, and by the end of the summer they become green-brown. Maple "Schwedler" is growing quite intensively, especially at a young age. 
It has a taproot with vertical anchor roots. Most of the roots are located in the upper soil layer. It grows well in sunny places, easily tolerates partial shade. The variety is highly resistant to urban climate. Suitable for creating landscape groups and mixed compositions. 
Important! For the cultivation of such a plant plot should have a humus, sandy-clay, alkaline or slightly acidic soil.
