By 2025, Ukraine’s share in total world wheat exports will reach 7.7%, said Director of Daniel Trading SA, Elena Neroba, on February 25 during her speech at the International Conference of the Middle East Grain Congress, which is now taking place in Dubai. According to the expert, the EU and Asian countries will be the main markets for Ukrainian wheat. In addition, the markets of the Middle East and North Africa will remain very attractive for the sale of grain. In terms of grain exports to the EU and the MENA regions (acronym for English Middle East & North Africa, you can also find MENA for Russian. Middle East and North Africa), Ukraine will get favor of its geographical position, which allows you to quickly deliver products and offer the best tariffs for transportation compared with the supply of grain from the United States or South America, explained Elena Neroba.
In particular, the cost of grain delivered to the Middle East from Ukraine is about $ 17-25 / ton, while the same supplies from the US - $ 32-33 / ton, and to China - $ 26-27 / ton, against grain supplies from Argentina worth 28-29 dollars / ton.
