Germany is a serious potential exporter for Ukrainian products

Ukraine has serious potential when it comes to new export opportunities. This is due both to the not fully developed agrarian potential of the country, and to the fact that there is competition between states on the world market.

The main area of interest of Ukrainian agrarians can be German investments. This is reported by Oleg Bakhmatyuk, the head of the Ukrlandfarming holding, the largest agrarian holding in Ukraine.

  • According to him, it is Germany, as the country-the largest producer of agricultural equipment in the world, on a par with the United States, has interests in the development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine. Bakhmatyuk notes that the conditions of growing competition among the leading states, which is related to successful investments in foreign countries, are in the hands of our country. Ukraine is a kind of platform for introducing innovations in the field of agricultural equipment, land use methods, and conducting new industrial business for such leading countries as Germany and the USA.

Bakhmatyuk also believes that Ukraine can become a lever of influence over the flow of goods to the Middle East and Asia. This further increases the interest in the Ukrainian agrarian sector from the world's largest exporters - Germany and the USA, and will certainly have a positive impact on the investment market in Ukraine, he said.
