How to use brilliant green in the garden and in the garden

For a long time, gardeners have been struggling with various pests and diseases of garden and garden crops. To combat the diseases of vegetables, bushes and trees, there are many different chemicals, most of which do not "shine" with their effectiveness. But even in the USSR, to combat parasites in the garden, they used an aqueous solution of ordinary brilliant green (Chinese green, brilliant green, ethylene green, smaragda green, etc. - there are a lot of names for green). In this article we will talk about how with the help of ordinary pharmaceutical means you can protect your garden and garden from a variety of diseases.

Handling cut points

Zelenka can be used in the garden for plants as an antiseptic and wound healing agent. If pruning or rejuvenation of trees occurs in spring or autumn, the wounds should be anointed with brilliant green. Otherwise, there is always a risk that parasites will settle in the place of the cut, and in winter the tree may thoroughly freeze at the place of the cut.

Did you know? Zelenka was first synthesized in Germany in 1879.
In order to cover up the wounds on trees and small shrubs, it is not necessary to make aqueous solutions. It is enough to take a cotton swab, dip it in brilliant green, and after that - smear the cut points. Even need to lubricate the places where you deleted shoots, because parasites can hit any place on the tree. Zelenka is a great help when rejuvenating vegetation in the garden, and it perfectly replaces clay mixtures or whitewash.

Berry crop processing

A solution of brilliant green can be processed berry crops (strawberries, strawberries, etc.). Such a tool will be effective. in fighting gray rot, powdery mildew and other diseases.

In addition, a solution of brilliant green can be used during the strawberry ovary, when any chemical preparations are contraindicated. But it will be better if the solution of berry crops is processed with a solution of green brunch during the flowering period (or immediately after its completion).

To control pests and diseases, ammonia, boric acid, potassium permanganate, and iodine are also used.
Strawberries and strawberries should be processed with a weakly concentrated solution (5 ml of greens per 10 liters of water). It should be watered directly under the root of the berry crops. The procedure is carried out twice (the second time to water 2 weeks after the first treatment).

Many gardeners say that brilliant green concentrate can inhibit the growth of whiskers in strawberries and strawberries, so the plant sends all the beneficial substances to the formation of the fruit. As a result, the fruits grow more juicy, tasty and large. This property of the brilliant green solution is the basis for the development of the chemical preparation "Zar-2".

Important! If a concentrate is used for young seedlings (a bottle of brilliant green for 10 liters of water), the risk of burn increases up to 90%.
Moreover, it was observed that spraying berry crops during flowering increases yields. To make the mixture for spraying, you need to dissolve 50 drops of brilliant green in 10 liters of water. This solution is especially effective for strawberries. When processing, the size of the berries increases significantly, and the total yield increases.

Protecting vegetables from disease

Brilliant green solution can be used in the garden for processing cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and other vegetables. So you can protect your plants from various diseases that are caused by bacteria and various small parasites.

But before processing you need to carefully follow the moisture of the soil. If it is dry, then after processing the above solution, the leaves on the vegetables may turn yellow, curl and fall off. And with increased humidity from bacteria that cause root rot, not even the brilliant green solution will save. Therefore, the soil moisture should be optimal, regular, but not very frequent watering is necessary (consider also the frequency of precipitation in your region). Cucumbers are treated with a mixture of water and brilliant green as a fight against two main diseases: powdery mildew and root rot. Also, this solution can spray cucumbers as preventive measures so that no other disease affects your garden crop.

To combat the root rot You need to go through 2 stages of the main procedure. First of all, cucumbers should be watered with a brilliant green concentrate (10 drops of brilliant green per 10 liters of water) at least 2 times a week. Tillage around cucumbers should be carried out immediately after harvest. Secondly, you should spray cucumber stalks with brilliant green solution at least once a week - so you will increase the yield, and you will scare off pathogenic microorganisms.

One of the most dangerous diseases of cucumbers is powdery mildew. It is capable of spreading over the entire cucumber plantation for a minimum period of time, so if you notice at least one white leaf on a cucumber bush, immediate treatment is necessary. The spraying solution is made as follows: 5 ml of greens and 60 ml of urea are dissolved in 10 liters of serum. It is necessary to spray cucumbers every 4-7 days until the pathogen of powdery mildew disappears completely.

Did you know? Brilliant green is used in industry as a dye for leather, silk, cardboard, etc.
Using brilliant green in the garden will be an effective method of dealing with blight on tomatoes. This disease is the most dangerous for tomato crops. The causative agent of phytophtoras is easily able to overwinter the bitter cold and start striking young plants in early spring. Therefore, it is possible to begin the fight against late blight concentrate of brilliant green from late autumn, when you gather the whole crop of tomatoes. To prepare the solution, 50 ml of greens are diluted in 10 liters of water. Water the area on which the tomatoes grew. Thus, the risk of phytophthora in early spring is sharply reduced.

In spring, brilliant green water concentrate is used for the prevention and treatment of phytophthora of young and adult tomato plants. The spray solution is made as follows: in 10 liters of water, 45 drops of greens are dissolved and everything is mixed.

The first spraying should be carried out in early spring, when the tomatoes are still young and are grown in seedlings.

The second spraying is carried out immediately after transplanting plants into open ground. For the third time, tomatoes are sprayed after new leaves start to appear on them. All further treatments of plants are carried out only if the phytophtora has not been defeated (the interval between treatments is 7-9 days). To disinfect the soil, you can dissolve 60-70 ml of greens in 10 liters of water and water the soil with the mixture every 3-4 days.

In order to grow a large and tasty onion, before planting, it is necessary to disinfect the soil, otherwise there is a risk that the plant will begin to turn yellow, and the root part will regularly rot.

The mixture for disinfecting the seat can be prepared in the manner described above (for processing tomatoes). Onions need to be planted in the ground only 3-5 days after treatment. After the onion has risen, it must be sprayed with a solution of brilliant green and serum (5-7 ml of green stuff per 10 l of serum). After 7-10 days, the procedure is desirable to repeat.

Important! Brilliant green is a toxic substance and can cause severe burns if it enters the eye or the oral cavity (there is a risk of blindness if it enters the eye). Therefore, when processing the garden and vegetable garden with Zelenka concentrate, follow the safety precautions.

For processing pumpkin crops (zucchini, pumpkins, etc.), you can use a solution of serum, urea and brilliant green. The proportions comply with the same as stated above. The treatment is carried out for the purpose of prevention and treatment of root rot 2-3 times per season with an interval of 10-14 days. Water solution directly under the root in the early morning or late evening.

Fighting slugs

To combat the slugs in the summer cottage and in the garden, you can also use an aqueous solution of brilliant green. The solution is made at the rate of 1 bottle per 10 liters of water. The resulting mixture can spray the plants and water them under the root. Procedures should be carried out 2-3 times a month until the complete disappearance of slugs. It is not recommended to water over the dried soil with an aqueous solution of brilliant green, as you can burn young plants.

In conclusion, I would like to note that pest control in the garden with green leaf is a cheap and effective method. If you take advantage of all the rules we specified, then the pests will leave immediately. In addition, remember that brilliant green is also an effective tool for smearing the wounds of freshly cut trees and shrubs.
