Characteristic

Kishmish Jupiter - universal unpretentious grape variety with seedlessness 1 class, which is used fresh and is used for drying high quality raisins.

For the preparation of raisins are also suitable Karmakod, Korinka Russian and Kishmish Century.

Kishmish Jupiter is distinguished by its extremely early ripening, its vegetative period is only 105-115 days. Already by August 10, you can pick berries for tasting.

The cuttings root very well and begin to actively bear fruit in the second or third year after planting in a permanent place. On the shoot can be formed up to 4 inflorescenceswhile the bush can not be rationed - the vine can withstand the load well.

To get a harvest before, it is still advisable to remove the inflorescences, leaving only 2 lower ones. Pruning vines produced on 6-8 eyeswhile optimal load - 30-35.

The productivity of Jupiter is high and regular.

At least 200 centners of berries are harvested from 1 hectare; with proper care, up to 260 centners.

Berries are well transported, while maintaining their presentation, however, when overriding prone to rapid shattering.

Such varieties as the Count of Monte Cristo, Muscat Dievsky and Lia are easily tolerated in transportation.

The characteristic difference of the variety is its frost resistance. Kishmish Jupiter stands up to -27⁰С, therefore, many growers grow it without shelter for the winter. If the shoots are frozen out, the bush is able to fully recover in a season.

The Beauty of the North, Super Extra and Arched are also particularly frost resistant.

IMPORTANT: The earliest ripening and large harvest will be achieved by processing the GK grapes.

The variety responds well to intensive watering until harvesting and prikormku organic fertilizers.

Diseases and pests

The variety is not damaged by wasps and is characterized by good resistance to fungal diseases such as oidium and mildew (at the level of 2.5 points). Despite growing with abundant watering, the berries are not affected by gray mold.

It is enough to carry out preventive treatment with standard biologics against fungal diseases. 1-2 times for the whole season. These funds will not affect the taste of berries in any way and are absolutely safe for humans.

Roofer varieties usually encounter the problem of rodents - during the winter these pests damage the wood of the plant. Under the conditions of the middle lane, the variety can not be covered; when grown in the northern regions, covering the plant with pine branches will help with the problem of rodents.

In the fight against ubiquitous aphids, pincers and leafworm regular inspection of the plant and removal of affected parts, loosening the soil and weed control, on which they appear in the first place, will help.

When such pests are found, the vine must be treated with acaricides and organic agents containing phosphorus.

Jupiter is a worthy variety not only for homegrown viticulture, but also for growing in large areas. Its resistance to changeable climatic conditions and high frost resistance make it possible to achieve a regular and high yield of the presentation with excellent taste.
